When? Where? Who? Why?
We observed that most students principally need a car for routine routes : going home, going to school, going to practice sports etc. They have to run those trips every day, at more or less the same hours. Therefore, we wish to implement an app allowing them to buy and use a common car. This app will be available on the App Store (Apple) as well as on the Play Store (Android) for free.
The aim of this brand new app will be to gather people having complementary or identical schedule so that they can, at the same time, save money compared to other car users, meet new people and be more ecologically friendly.
For whom?
Our target is clearly defined: students. More particularly, we are targeting students having an above average budget who are able to finance a share of the car as well as other related costs such as oil and maintenance. We have decided to target students because most of them don't have the right financial situation to buy their own car during their studies. Furthermore, universities are often located far from the city center (where students are living) requiring long journeys in the public transports.
What? How?
Our offer is to match students wishing to buy a same and unique car for their group. The algorithm will put into relation students having similar or complementary daily routes, habits and budgets so that they can share the costs of the same car together. Once the group will be formed, our AI will search for cars on the internet which would be a fit to the group members' needs. Based on the purposed alternatives, students will decide to buy, or not, a specific car.

When? Where? Who? Why?
One of the biggest challenge we are already facing and we will be facing in the future is the reduction of pollution. One of the solution to this problem is the use of public transports. However many people don't want to contribute by using public transports because they need/love the comfort they have by using their car. The idea of this project came up thinking that if we could have 4 to 5 people together in the same car enjoying the same drive with the same conditions or similar conditions they usually have in their private car we could reduce pollution as well as traffic congestion and parking issues in big cities.
As an example, most of the students go to school using public transports however some others use their car, if we could manage to match these students together it could help them save money, enjoy a ride together and even meet new people.
For whom?
This application is designed for students looking for other people to share a ride with them to go to school, to the shopping center or to do any other activity. It is for students who do not have a car but also for students who own a car and want to share the drive with others.
What? How?
The aim of the application is to help people to match the best people to drive with regarding their topic of interest, or the type of music they listen to, or their favorite class. The first step is to create your profile, helping the other members to learn more about you, to explain how you enjoy a ride, topic of interest, if you listen to music while driving and what type of music you listen to, if you smoke or not or if you have any enquiry. Then you have to specify if you own a car and want to share a ride or if you want to jump in someone else's car. Finally, you will be matched (thanks to AI) and then asked to choose between student's who are close to your place and who are going close to your destination.
You can now enjoy the ride and meet new people at the same time.
